ELDER CARE & ABUSE
Do you really know who
is caring for your loved one?

Did you know most hospice people that come into your home are not licensed nor have they had a criminal background. They are volunteers and it is up to you to check before letting them in your home.

Whether your loved one is in in-home care, group assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or in the care of another relative, this is a most vulnerable time your loved one.

While most people are reputable, there are those that take these positions of trust to easily prey on the weak and distracted by stealing valuables, checks, credit cards, prescriptions, and personal information to commit identity theft, or attack a families estate.

Others may not treat a loved one the same when you are not around.
Being yelled at, neglected, or treated in a demeaning manner is abuse too.  Not all abuse leaves marks.

If you know or suspect a problem:
Call immediately for a personalized case assessment, don't wait to take action.

SOLUTION:
We recommend an immediate confidential consultation with one of our family matter case directors. PRE-HIRE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS

Check out your Care Taker, Nanny, or Housekeeper before they come into your lives.

A thorough background check can save you heartache and thousands of dollars.  Most employment out sourcing companies DO NOT do a complete background on the candidates they send you. We can conduct a check even if they are on a work Visa from another country.  Remember, you are inviting this person into your home when you are not there.  They will have access to your whole household.  In the old days you just had to worry about your cash and jewelry being locked up, but in todays world information can be taken off your computer with a a USB device, our homes have many small electronics that are easy to steal, many people are on expensive medications that can be resold, even your personal information such as a the name & numbers off your VISA card given to help to run an errand can be compromised.  While running a pre-hire background is never a 100% guarantee that a person will not steal or be abusive, it does catch some that already have records or bad reviews from previous employers.  We have found candidates that had past criminal records that were now using false identities. Since the new identity has NO records, which is a caution sign, if only checked by a database search it will show them as clear.  That is why it is we manually search the records and references and never rely solely on a database screening search.

SOLUTION:
Conduct a thorough background investigation to include manually checking records in all states, counties, and / or countries the candidate has lived.  We also verify the information on their application to be correct and look for any thing that would be a red flag.  We additionally verify the applicants relationship to references.

In-home remote viewing surveillance camera system

We additionally can help you install an in home camera system that allows you to have access to your home remotely from anywhere you have internet.  Now you can see and hear what is going on in your home while you are away giving you peace of mind.

MISSING PERSONS

RUNAWAYS, ABDUCTIONS, LOST

Call 911 first.  Law enforcement will take a report and may initiate a search.  They may depending on the age or mental capacity of the missing person initiate an AMBER alert.  In many instances they will not start to investigate until 24 hrs after the person was last seen.  We do not have to abide by these rules and can start searching immediately.

Every minute counts and can drive your loved one into further danger.  We try to overlook it but there are many predators that seek to exploit people that are confused, young, or weak.  I am sure you have read about famous cases in which it was found out later that leads were not followed up on timely and the victims trail was lost.

We aggressively work these cases by starting immediately to conduct interviews, organize groups to canvass the last know area, interface with law enforcement agencies, and investigate and followup on leads until they are found.

Since law enforcement is often understaffed hiring a professional investigator will enhance the recovery effort ten fold.

Put our dedicated team to work for you.  Our experts have investigated and found thousands of missing persons both locally and nationally.

ADDICTIONS

Drug, Alcohol, Sex, Gambling, and Virtual Reality Addictions
Strikes all ages, ethnic, social and economic backgrounds.

What is addiction?

Addiction, is a state in which the body relies on a substance or stimulus. When this substance or stimulus is removed, it can cause a physical and/or mental withdrawal.

Some warning signs:
Has a loved one had a change in personality or their grooming? Are they being secretive?  Staying up late, or sleeping more?  Are their grades at school or their job performance suffering? Have they lost interest in the things they liked? Are they consumed by a computer game? Are they missing for hours at a time with lame excuses, or you found they have lied about where they were?

These are all warning signs of addictions.  Most addicts will try to minimize or hide their problem, and will promise they have quit.  It takes some investigation to discover their hiding places if they are using, and often surveillance to see where they are going.

SOLUTION:
We recommend an immediate confidential consultation with one of our family matter case directors. Since each case is unique, after discussing your concerns and going over the known case facts, your case director will determine the most effective investigation methods to find the truth and then set up an investigative action plan. In cases of drug abuse time is of the essence.

We also offer in person screening for drugs and alcohol.  An investigator shows up and takes a saliva sample, and send it to the lab for results.  This is a good deterrent for teens as well as persons who have quit.

There are many programs we are familiar with that we can make referrals to once the problem is out in the open and they acknowledge they have a problem.
